Warranty & Delivery Information - Hunter Stoves
At Camden Fires, we only stock trusted brands like Hunter Stoves, known for their build
quality and long-term reliability. All Hunter appliances are backed by standard and extended warranties, subject to terms.
Warranty Information
Standard Warranty
2 years for purchases through authorised retailer Camden Fires (solid fuel, gas, boiler, and
electric models).
Extended Warranty (Available by Registration)
You can upgrade your standard warranty by registering your product within 2 months of
purchase:
- Up to 10 years for wood & multifuel room heaters
- Up to 5 years for gas or boiler room heaters
Conditions:
- Installation must be completed by a qualified HETAS/Gas Safe engineer.
- Annual servicing is required, with records retained.
- Only genuine Hunter parts should be used during maintenance.
- Claims must go through the original authorised retailer and include proof, photos, and service records.
What’s Not Covered
The following are excluded from standard or extended warranty:
- Wear & tear parts like rope seals, fire bricks, glass, grates, and ash pans (covered for 12 months only)
- Damage from misuse, poor maintenance, unsuitable fuels, or unauthorised modifications
- Paint or enamel changes from heat or moisture exposure
- Consequential losses or reinstallation costs
- Fuels not listed by HETAS (e.g. petroleum-based coal)
Important Notes
- Warranty starts from the purchase date.
- Warranty is non-transferable, unless you sell your home and notify your retailer
within 30 days. - Extended cover is not available for products bought from unauthorised or online-only sellers.

Delivery Information
Free Delivery
We offer free delivery to mainland UK on all orders over £100.00.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to extend free delivery to the following locations:
- Northern Ireland (for stove orders)
- Channel Islands
- Isle of Man
- Isle of Wight
- Other offshore destinations
If you're ordering from one of these areas, you can still place your order as normal, and our team will contact you with a tailored delivery quote before proceeding.
Lead Times
To keep our prices competitive, many of our products are ordered in on demand directly from our suppliers.
- Estimated dispatch time: 5–10 working days after order confirmation.
- We're actively working to shorten this lead time wherever possible.
Once your order has been processed, you’ll receive an order confirmation email with an estimated dispatch date. When we are ready to schedule your delivery, a member of the team will get in touch to arrange a convenient delivery day.
Large Item Delivery (Stoves, Fires, Outdoor Products)
Deliveries for larger items such as Hunter Stoves, outdoor heaters, and lifestyle products are made via a national pallet delivery network.
- These are typically delivered on a 7.5-tonne vehicle with a tail lift.
- If your property has restricted access, please notify us when ordering so we can make suitable arrangements.
- The delivery driver will offload your pallet to the nearest accessible point using a pallet truck but cannot cross gravel, grass, uneven surfaces, or narrow entries.
- Due to insurance and health & safety, drivers cannot assist with lifting or moving
items inside your home. Upon delivery, you will have up to 15 minutes to inspect your items with the driver present. - If the driver refuses to wait, please sign for the delivery as “DAMAGED”.
If there is visible damage, mark it as “DAMAGED”, refuse the item, take photographs, and contact our support team within 24 hours.
Failed Deliveries & Cancellations
If you're unavailable on the pre-booked delivery day, a re-delivery fee will apply.
If an order is cancelled after dispatch, the return transport cost will be deducted from your
refund, even if the goods haven’t arrived yet.
Small Item Delivery
Smaller products like fireside accessories and BBQ tools are typically delivered by DPD:
- DPD will contact you by email and SMS with a delivery window.
- Delivery may occur Monday to Sunday for these smaller items.
Returns Policy
We understand that sometimes things change. Our returns process is straightforward:
- You may cancel your order any time from purchase to 14 days after delivery.
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing (email or post) and include your order number.
- Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014, we will issue refunds within 14 working days, but often much faster, typically within 7 working days of goods being returned safely.
To qualify for a refund:
- Goods must be unused, uninstalled, and in resaleable condition
- Items must be returned in their original packaging
- Painted products and spare parts are non-returnable due to their bespoke nature
- Return postage is the customer’s responsibility
- A restocking charge may apply for special-order items returned or cancelled after dispatch. This fee covers our supplier return costs.
We reserve the right to cancel orders if an item is unavailable or if a pricing error is discovered.
